Henfold Lakes - The Fishing
Our Coarse Fishing Lakes are set in 95 Acres of beautiful woodland in the Surrey countryside, Henfold Lakes Leisure boast five distinct lakes joined by weirs and interconnecting stream. The lakes are all mixed fisheries well stocked with carp to over 20lb, good sized ghosties, bream, chub, crucians, roach, rudd, perch, golden orfe with golden and green tench to provide good all year round fishing. Primarily designed for the match fisherman but provides great sport for the day ticket fisherman too. Please check availability with the bailiff first. The fishing lakes are open from 6am each morning until dusk. Guest Caravanners, Campers and Members may begin fishing at 6am during the summer months when the mornings are lighter. Day tickets can be obtained from the bailiff who will make several visits during the day. The fishery rules and charges can be viewed on this website and also on the back of all fishing permits.
Anyone wishing to fish after dusk, will need to become a member of Henfold Lakes – please Contact Us for details. Younger children must be supervised. If you wish to leave your child unattended you will need to inform reception or the bailiff who will take a telephone contact number where we can reach a parent at all times in the event of an emergency or misbehaviour. Please note that we care for the well being of our valuable fish stocks and you must be sure to have read the rules and charges and have the correct equipment. Our staff are most experienced anglers and are happy to give advice.
Henfold Lakes - Caravanning
Situated in an area of high landscape quality, the caravan site has extensive views over the Henfold Lakes while being protected by trees all round. It is close to the Surrey Hills and many charming Surrey and West Sussex villages such as Dorking and Horsham. Ideal for fishermen, walkers, bird watchers and anyone else wanting to relax. Guest Caravanners are asked to please fill in the registration form and hand it in or forward it to Henfold Lakes Leisure.
The lakes can be hired for matches but must be booked in advance, details can be obtained in writing by your going to the Contact Us page. Approximate number of pegs necessary will be required.
Henfold Lakes - Where we are
Dorking is only a few miles away, (See the Map) with easy parking, and a relaxed atmosphere with a good selection of independant and national names, as well as a fantastic variety of cafes and restaurants. A little further are Horsham, Guildford and Brighton, with a wide variety of niche shops, so there is something for everyone to do. (See Further Local Venues)
